How a Project Begins

Here is the sequence, in plain terms.

Consultation

A design consultation gets the plan right before anything is ordered, billed on its own at $40 an hour.

Design

Once the project moves into installation, the design work itself costs nothing extra.

Agreement

Fifty percent is due before materials are ordered.

Build

Twenty-five percent comes due at the project's midpoint.

Completion

The balance is due within 15 days of completion.

What if I already know exactly what I want?

If you already know what you want, your estimate is free. Still working out the plan? A standalone design consultation runs $40 an hour, though design work costs nothing extra once you move into installation.

What happens if a payment runs late?

Balances are due within 15 days of completion. After that, late balances accrue interest at 18% a year, under the published payment schedule.

Will my pond or water feature stay perfectly clear?

Water clarity and algae control are not covered under warranty, and neither are manufacturer-supplied parts like skimmers, biofalls or check valves. That is stated plainly, not buried in fine print.
